Visiting and missing your pup? Cant have a dog because your landlord is a bit crazy and wont let you have a dog in your place? The Kauai Humane society has a program where you can take a dog out on a field trip for the day. Its great to just be able to get the dog out of the cage for the the day. You get an adpot me vest for the dog so maybe someone will see dog and adopt them. Well that is if you dont fall in love and decide to take them home. A fun fact, 83% of people the take a dog out for the day end up adopting them(Also 37% of statistics are completely made up :).

Hiking in the Waimea Canyon is very dog friendly. If you just want to go hangout at the beach on the south shore Kukiulua small boat is great. Also Mahaulepu beach and or the hike from shipwrecks(by Hyatt) to Mahaulepu, about 3miles.
